Feel better soon, Jackie! It seems we're partners in pain, lately. You being unable to breathe, and me being unable to eat or drink. Tell you what, you have a big piece of chocolate cake for me, and I'll be sure to breathe a little deeper for you . Isn't your new breather-thingy helping much? I forget what it's called, sorry.
Thanks Nicole. My breather-thingy helps with my oxygen levels overnight. So I've had some relief and managed to sleep a little, because it's pumping oxygen in me. my lungs haven't had to work too hard. But it's not for using when I'm awake.
Oh. Well that sucks. So you're only allowed to breathe at night? Doctors should invent some kinda in-chest breather-assister thingy. Something you just swallow like a pill that expands and magically makes you breathe easier. I don't know, but it doesn't seem fair that you have to keep suffering.
On the plus side, at least you're getting a bit more sleep
You know how they work, right? The salbutamol one is for when needed, and the symbicort is a daily dose thing. It only works if it's taken routinely. I hated to go on the steroid inhalers...but it changed my life for the better. I even quit once, but discovered I'd be better off going back to using them. Three puffs a day...the doctor wants me to take twice that....not unless I feel I need to.
